ANC 3E represents the Tenleytown, American University Park and Friendship Heights neighborhoods. The Advisory Neighborhood Commissions (ANC) consider a wide range of policies and programs affecting their neighborhoods, including traffic, parking, recreation, street improvements, liquor licenses, zoning, economic development, police protection, sanitation and trash collection, and the District's annual budget.

ANC Updates

Who won the election?  The latest November 8, 2016 ANC election results are now available on the Board of Elections and Ethics website.  Be sure to "filter by" ANC.

Please also keep in mind that these are the unofficial results, and they do not include the results for write-in candidates or absentee or special ballots. As a result, the outcome in close races could still change. Once the Board of Elections and Ethics certifies the results, challengers will have seven days to file any challenges.

The winning candidates will be sworn in and take office on Monday, January 2, 2017.

Write-ins.  The deadline for getting your name on the November ballot for ANC has passed. However, you can still run as a write-in candidate. For more info see: Running as a Write-In
